about
In August 2025, I picked up a camera for the very first time. My dad’s old DSLR, buried in the closet, left behind at my mom’s house. I took it to Bremerton’s own Charleston and shot the bands Big Time, Distorted Times, and Fat Mike’s Codefendants. I had a ton of fun, the shots came out good, the bands appreciated it, and I’d found a visual creative outlet that I so desperately needed. Since then I’ve covered over 30 bands, gotten some minor upgrades to my equipment, and with every shoot I feel myself improving.
I’m still running with that camera a few months later, and I’ve developed a style that focuses on strong sillouhettes, capturing bold stagelight colors, and making bands look rad as hell. I hope to expand my skillset to videography and audio interviews in the near future.
